Six Fresno churches for the first time will be
visited by California State University leaders – most from Fresno State
– as part of the annual CSU Super Sunday program that reaches out to
African Americans throughout California.
Super Sunday, operating since 2005, puts CSU leaders in churches to talk
with African American prospective students and their families about
college, how to apply, what financial aid is available and how to
prepare for higher education. From the original 24 church visits, the
program has extended to 90 churches this year.
Here's the schedule of visits to Fresno churches by Fresno State
officials (unless otherwise noted). Fresno State Outreach staff will be
at each church to offer additional assistance and answer questions.
