Faculty/staff
discounts for basketball
University faculty and staff can enjoy the discounted group ticket
rate for all home basketball games in December. For women’s games,
faculty/staff tickets are $2, and men’s basketball tickets are $10
(upper bowl middle section) or $7 (upper bowl end zone section).
Faculty/staff ID will be required to get tickets.
The
women’s team hosts USF at 1 p.m. Dec. 16 and Loyola Marymount at 7
p.m. Dec. 21. A special attraction at the USF game will be
ball-handling expert Sandy “Spin” Slade, who played for the Bulldogs
in the mid 1980s. The Bulldog men will host nationally ranked
Creighton on Dec. 16, Stanford of the Pac-10 on Dec. 19, Cal Poly on
Dec. 23 and San Diego on Dec. 30, all at 7 p.m. Squatch, the Seattle
Supersonics’ high-flying mascot, will be the halftime entertainment
on Dec. 19, when everyone is asked to wear white as the Bulldogs try
for a “Winter White Out” and a Save Mart Center basketball
attendance record. To encourage families to arrive early for
basketball games, the Bulldog Fun Zone features interactive
displays, inflatable games, visits from Timeout and mascot Victor E.
Bulldog and much more.
