Employees, football fans donate nearly 6 tons of food
Fresno State football fans and employees participated in three events during October and November to provide 119,242 pounds of food for the Fresno Community Food Bank. Included were an on-campus effort the last week of October and can collections at football games Oct. 26 and Nov. 3. Click here for details.

Campus Thanksgiving effort benefits Food Bank
Health and Psychological Services’ Thanksgiving luncheon collected enough money to provide more than $1,100 in food for the hungry through the Fresno Community Food Bank. The Food Bank was chosen because it responded quickly and effectively to the needs of people displaced by the Southern California wildfire siege. The concern was that there was so much help going south that the Food Bank’s ability to help local hungry might suffer.
