Fresno State faculty, staff pass $1 million campaign milestone
Faculty and staff at Fresno State have donated more than $1 million to the Campaign for Fresno State. In his Spring Assembly speech, President Welty reported.” The Cabinet has committed over $200,000, and over 70 percent of Kremen School of Education and Human Development faculty and staff have made a commitment to the campaign.” He urged the Fresno State family to contribute “to any account on campus, whether it’s for scholarships, endowments or programs.”

Karsevar joins development team
Kent Karsevar has been appointed director of development for the College of Social Services. Karsevar formerly was with the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation.

CSU receives record $326 million in gifts, commitments
The 23-campus California State University system received a record $326 million in charitable gifts and commitments in 2006-07. The CSU Annual Report on External Support documents that giving increased nearly 15 percent  from the $285 million raised in 2005-06. Click here for details.
