(Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures) wrote Chapter 41 – on first-century Jewish historian Josepheus in “A Companion to Green and Roman Historiography,” published in January by Blackwell. The two-volume book’s 57 chapters are the work of an international group of expert scholars.

Rose Marie Kuhn
(Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures) presented a refereed workshop on Sub-Saharan Africa and interest sessions on the African folktale and African Sub-Saharan literature in French. Her presentations were at the annual conference of the California Language Teachers Association in Irvine.

The topic mirrors a chapter Zapata-Whelan wrote for a soon-to-be-published anthology, “Love You to Pieces,” on the subject.
