Fresno State throws open its doors in October

Fresno State Day – University Open House – will be held on Saturday, Oct.15.

This event, sponsored by University Outreach Services, provides prospective students (first-time freshmen and transfers) and their families with the opportunity to visit the campus and learn about university programs while meeting with faculty and staff.

The campus community – all offices, departments, and divisions of the university – are encouraged to participate in this important recruitment effort as we open our doors to students and families from across the state and region.

The event is dedicated to developing community and student interest to the greatest extent possible through public display of academic highlights and research, award-winning faculty, educational opportunities, campus facilities and student life.

Fresno State Day, which will be held as part of Homecoming 2005, will get an early start on Friday, Oct. 14, from 7 to 9 p.m., when University Courtyard will offer tours of housing, make parent presentations and provide other activities for students and families arriving the day before.
