New athletics director lands in Fresno
Fresno State’s search for a new Athletics Director has culminated in the selection of Thomas C. Boeh, the current athletics director at Ohio University. Boeh’s appointment was announced by California State University, Fresno President John D. Welty in the Joe Josephine Theater of the Duncan Athletic Facility.

On the tube
With eight of its 11 football games being broadcast nationally in 2005, Fresno State is making its second-highest number of regular-season national television appearances. In 2002, the Bulldogs had nine regular-season games broadcast nationally and the postseason Silicon Valley Classic bowl game. Prior to the 2001 season, Fresno State made just 15 national appearances since 1990.
