Kennel Bookstore plans 2005's final 'Patio Sale'
The
Kennel Bookstore’s last Patio Sale of the
Year will be held Nov. 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Discounts of up to
75 percent will be offered on selected merchandise. The Bookstore’s Red Days
Sale will be held Nov. 16 through 19, with 20 percent off all red apparel,
imprinted gifts, gifts, general books and wall calendars (some exclusions
apply). The Bookstore’s largest annual sale, the Holiday Open House Sale,
will be held Dec. 2 and 3.
Decorating
contest winner named
The Kremen School of Education was the winner of the Office
Decorating Contest sponsored by the Staff Assembly during Homecoming week.
The decorators were featured on the KMPH-TV/26 Fox Great Day morning show on
Friday, Oct. 14. Bulldogs football coach Pat Hill presented the trophy.

The Executive Committee of the Academic Senate is issuing a call
for faculty members to serve on the ad hoc awards committee to review
nominations and make recommendations for the Wang Family Excellence Award
and the honorary degree.

e-mail server upgrade
On Nov. 25-26, Information Technology Services staff will be
replacing our faculty/staff e-mail server, Zimmer. The new server will
provide increased capacity and performance to meet the increasing demand for
e-mail services. The upgrade will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 and
conclude during the evening of Saturday, Nov. 26.
