New for 2005-06:  rotating Dorna signage
Corporate partners will have a new way to meet branding needs in the Save Mart Center this year with the addition of new rotating Dorna advertising panels.  The new panels measure 3-by-50 feet and give sponsors over seven times more space than the previous trivision panels. The panels will rotate every 90-120 seconds and the increased size will provide a greater impact.  For more information, contact Bulldog Sport Properties at 278.3198.

Run for the Dream
On Jan. 16, 2006, the Save Mart Center will host an indoor track and field meet on Martin Luther King Day.  The Run for the Dream Indoor Track meet will present the San Joaquin Valley an opportunity to honor track and field stars of the past, with the stars of the present and future. This meet, along with the Millrose Games (Madison Square Garden), will be one of only two track and field meets held in large indoor sports arenas.

The former Sunkist Invitational Track and Field Invitational (Los Angeles Sports Arena) 160 meter track will be constructed inside the Save Mart Center. There will be a professional division, an open-intercollegiate division, a community college division, a high school division and a youth division.

The Run for the Dream will be preceded on Jan. 14 by a Track and Field Golden Hour Banquet honoring the contributions of San Joaquin Valley track and field athletes to the sport and to the Olympic Games. Fresno State’s Director of Track and Field Bob Fraley is the chair of this event.
