'Season of Light' program planned for Downing Planetarium

The Downing Planetarium at Fresno State will present its popular holiday show, “Season of Light,” during the month of December. The family-oriented program explores many winter holiday traditions from around the world and how they involve lighting up the dark season. Associated Students sponsor Christmas toy drive
Fresno State’s Associated Students is teaming up with the Fresno County Economic Opportunity Commission to help needy Fresno County children this holiday through the 2005 Associated Students Toy Drive. Fresno State students, clubs and organizations are encouraged to give back this holiday season by donating new toys for kids of all ages. Associated Students will reward the group who donates the most toys by hosting a group pizza party. More...

The Kremen School of Education has announced the call for nominations for the Jan and Bud Richter Awards of Excellence in Education.  Please consider nominating a deserving colleague for one of the three awards, as follows: a professor in the Kremen School of Education; a staff member in the Kremen School; and a professor outside of the Kremen School who prepares teachers in Liberal Studies. Bookstore holiday sale kicks off Dec. 2-3
Kennel Bookstore will host its 27th annual Holiday Open House Sale on Friday, Dec. 2 from 7:45 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.  This two-day event will include prizes, refreshments and 25 percent off discounts throughout the store. More...
