Bulldog Sports Properties receives top award
Bulldog Sports Properties (BSP) was recently crowned the winner of the Learfield Sports Property vs. Property contest for recording the highest net sales revenue growth from last year. In recognition of this achievement, the BSP staff was presented with a crystal cup, which is displayed in general manager Steve Sullivan’s office. There are 19 schools that make up the Learfield Sports Property. Gamecock Sports Properties (South Carolina) and Badger Sports Properties (Wisconsin) finished second and third, respectively.

New faces in Athletics Department
The Fresno State Athletics Department has three new faces on board: Anessa Ivy, Tina Luzzi and Jennifer Monroe. Ivy is the administrative assistant to Betsy Mosher. Luzzi is the new academic adviser, replacing  Cleo Bauer, who retired. Monroe is an administrative assistant with the football program.

Time Out Club luncheons and booster bus trips
Seven Time Out Club Luncheons are set for the upcoming season. Each luncheon will feature Fresno State head coach Steve Cleveland, a current Bulldog and an alumni of the program. Held at Pardini’s Restaurant, the cost is $12 for Time Out Club members and $15 for non-members. Reservations can be made by phoning the Bulldog Foundation at 559.278.7103.  In addition, five Bulldog basketball booster road trips have been set up with four trips remaining:  San Diego (Dec. 10), Pacific (Dec. 17), San Jose State (Feb. 23) and Nevada (March 4).  All reservations can be made at Time Out Club Luncheons or by contacting Tim Schiller at 559.225.3164.

Basketball season tickets, single-game tickets available
While single-game tickets can now be purchased through Ticketmaster, new men’s and women’s season basketball tickets for the general public are on sale and can be purchased by contacting the Bulldog Ticket Office at 278.DOGS. Season tickets also are available online at www.gobulldogs.com. For Personal Seat Licenses, the public may contact The Bulldog Foundation at 278.7160. In addition, group tickets (10 or more people) and party suite rentals are available by phoning the Bulldog Ticket Office.

Football awards banquet set
The Fresno State football team will host its annual awards banquet on Sunday, Dec. 4, at Pardini’s. For tickets and information in this event, contact the Bulldogs Football Ticket Office at 278.3015.

Double Play Dinner/Alumni Game
The Fresno State baseball team will host its annual Double Play Dinner on Jan. 20. For tickets and information on this event, contact Marty Mamigonian at 451.2395. The following day, the Bulldogs will host their alumni game at noon at Beiden Field. Admission is free.

NECA-IBEW Fans Choice Award
The National Electrical Contractors Association and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers have partnered with the Bulldogs to present the "Fans Choice Award."  Bulldogs fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite student-athletes in football and men's and women's basketball.  Fans can vote at special kiosks at games or vote online at www.gobulldogs.com. Trophies will be showcased in a special display case provided by NECA and IBEW.

Audio streaming
The Fresno State Athletics Video Services Department will begin streaming live and taped events on www.gobulldogs.com.  With a minimal subscription fee, the events that will be shown are football, men’s and women’s basketball, news conferences, live televised events, special features and interviews and highlight tapes.

1430 ESPN Dog Zone Show
Broadcast live every Friday from 4-6 p.m. at Fashion Furniture in Riverpark, the 1430 ESPN Dog Zone Show continues its successful partnership with the Fresno State Athletics Department. This two-hour showcase on the Bulldogs as well as feature interviews with coaches, student-athletes and staff members has been well received. Everyone is invited to join the show at Fashion Furniture.

KOQO "Super Q" joins broadcast family
The Fresno State Athletics Department and KOQO have partnered to broadcast live Bulldogs' football and men's basketball games in Spanish for the 2005-06 year.  Known as "Super Q," the FM Hispanic music format is located on 101.9.  This is the third straight year in which the Bulldogs can be heard in Spanish in the Fresno market. 

Code Red events
Started last year, Fresno State will once again designate certain home athletic contests as Code Red Events. Fresno State’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) is spearheading the cause to help support one another when playing at home.  Code Red events are those that will have a major impact on the seasons of the various athletic teams. Run for the Dream
On Jan. 16, the Save Mart Center will host an indoor track and field meet on Martin Luther King Day. The Run for the Dream Indoor Track meet will present the San Joaquin Valley an opportunity to honor track and field stars of the past, with the stars of the present and future. This meet, along with the Millrose Games (Madison Square Garden), will be one of only two track and field meets held in large indoor sports arenas.

The former Sunkist Invitational Track and Field Invitational (Los Angeles Sports Arena) 160 meter track will be constructed inside the Save Mart Center. There will be a professional division, an open-intercollegiate division, a community college division, a high school division and a youth division.

The Run for the Dream will be preceded on Jan. 14 by a Track and Field Golden Hour Banquet honoring the contributions of San Joaquin Valley track and field athletes to the sport and to the Olympic Games. Fresno State’s Director of Track and Field Bob Fraley is the chair of this event.
