February is one of the busiest months for Bulldog athletics teams. While
winter sports are in the middle of their seasons, spring sports are getting

New
ticket and food packages offered for men’s basketball fans
Fresno
State is offering three new ticket and food combo packages for the rest of
the men’s basketball season. Good at any game, the Four Pack and Group
Offer are two new ways to watch Bulldog basketball. The Four Pack, which
can be purchased through Ticketmaster and the Save Mart Center Box Office,
offers four reserved seats, four hot dogs and four sodas for $80. The Group
Offer, available only through the Bulldog Ticket Office, is good for groups
of 10 or more and offers 10 game tickets, 10 hot dogs and 10 sodas for
$170. The Weekday Twin Pack, purchased through Ticketmaster and the SMC Box
Office, is good for two reserved tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for
$46.
Watch, listen to Coach Cleveland on KMPH-26 and KMJ
Men’s
basketball coach Steve Cleveland is in the “Coach’s Corner” during “The 10
O’Clock News” Monday nights on KMPH-26 throughout the season. Cleveland’s
radio show airs on KMJ, AM 580, at 1:05 p.m. Tuesdays.
Spring tournaments coming up in March
The Fresno State baseball and softball teams will host their annual spring
tournaments next month. Softball’s Bulldog Classic presented by Bingham
Toyota, is March 9-13 at Bulldog Diamond. The following week is the
Pepsi/Johnny Quik Tournament, which runs March 13-18 at Beiden Field.

University chosen to host baseball/softball championships
Fresno
State will host both the Western Athletic Conference softball and baseball
championships in May. The softball title will be decided May 11-13 on
Bulldog Diamond. The WAC Championship baseball tournament will be held May
24-28 at Beiden Field.
1430 ESPN broadcasts
‘The Bulldog Hoops Hour’ at noon Tuesday
Tuesday’s
“Bulldog Hoops Hour” on 1430-ESPN radio begins with “The Adrian Wiggins
Show” at noon, showcasing insights of the Fresno State women’s basketball
head into recent games and what’s ahead. Listeners also get an opportunity
to hear from student-athletes on the team. At 12:30 is “The Heath Schroyer
Show,” in which the Fresno State associate head coach provides 30 minutes of
information on the Bulldog men’s hoops team and stories about college
basketball across the nation.
Two men’s basketball
booster bus trips remain this season
Reservations
can be made for Bulldog road trips to San Jose State (Feb. 23) and Nevada
(March 4). All reservations can be made at Time Out Club Luncheons or by

The Bulldog Foundation chooses trustees
The Bulldog
Foundation Board of Trustees has elected Hank Smith as president. Other
officers for 2006 are John Wallace (first vice president), Rob Saroyan (fund
drive vice president) and Curtis Stubblefield (secretary/treasurer).
Presidents of Fresno State booster clubs are invited to BDF Trustees’
meetings.
Bulldogs athletics spotlighted in weekly
radio show
Radio
1430-ESPN’s Broadcast live every Friday from 4-6 pm at Fashion Furniture (Riverpark),
the 1430 ESPN “Dog Zone Show’ from 4 to 6 p.m. each Friday features
interviews with Fresno State coaches, student-athletes and staff members.
The show is broadcast from Fashion Furniture in the Riverpark shopping
center.
KOQO broadcasts men’s basketball games in Spanish
The Fresno
State Athletics Department and KOQO, FM 101.9, continue their partnership
with Spanish broadcasts of Bulldog men’s basketball games. It’s the third
straight year Bulldog football and men’s basketball games have aired in
Spanish.
Two Code Red events on February sports
schedule
The Fresno
State Invitational women’s golf tournament Feb. 27 and 28 at the Copper
River Country Club near Friant and the Feb. 11 equestrian match, when the
Bulldogs host perennial national power Georgia at the Student Horse Center,
are designated as Code Red events this month. Code Red events are designated
by the Student-Athlete Advisory Council as events that will have a major
impact on the seasons of the teams and deserve maximum fan support. For a
