Alumni family finds Liberty Bowl especially meaningful
Three members of a Fresno State alumni family, who went to the Liberty Bowl hoping to cheer the Bulldog football team to victory, found a much deeper experience in their trip to Memphis. Richard Samuelian and his sons, Richard and Ron, met a family from Mobile, Ala., trying to recover from a son receiving cancer treatment at bowl beneficiary St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and Hurricane Katrina devastating their house. “This kind of connection is what we strive to achieve,” said Steve Ehrhart, the Liberty Bowl executive director. Diversity Awareness Week in full swing on campus

This is Diversity Awareness Week, which offers a number of reminders through Friday, April 7, about the variety of cultures on campus and throughout our community.
