New employees participate
in orientation“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.” -- Anthropologist Margaret Mead Employment and Benefit Services welcomed Fresno State’s newest group of thoughtful, committed employees at the New Employee Orientation on March. Over 130 employees hired within the past year for positions throughout the campus were invited to learn more about the various divisions on campus and about some of the many services and benefits available to them as employees of Fresno State. Attendees heard several entertaining and informative presenters including Dr. Paul Oliaro, vice president for student affairs and dean of students, and Cynthia Teniente-Matson, vice president for administration and chief financial officer. Employees also heard about the he Fee Waiver Program, Employee Assistance and Development and CalPers retirement benefits. Employment and Benefit Services provides assistance to employees from its office in Room 164 of the Joyal Administration building or by calling 278.2032.
