A new year-long book club featuring the works of Dr. Maya Angelou will be launched from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25 by the Fresno State’s Women’s Resource Center and the President’s Office. The free, public event in the Henry Madden Library (Table Mountain Reading Room on third floor) is part of Herstory Month and will feature live performances by Dr. Francine Oputa of the Center for Women and Culture and a welcome by Fresno State first lady Mary Castro.
