The “Maddy Report’s — Prop 63 and the State’s Mental Health Programs: Promises (Un)Fulfilled?” will air at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, on ABC30. Mark Keppler, executive director of The Maddy Institute, will host the hour-long program featuring guests Darrell Steinberg, former president pro tem of the California Senate and current director of policy and advocacy at the UC Davis Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, and Carole D’Elia, executive director of the Little Hoover Commission. The “Maddy Report — Valley Views Edition: “Prop 63 in Action: Tulare County’s Innovative Mental Health Program” airs at 10 a.m. on Newstalk  580 and 105.9 KMJ. Guests are Dr. Timothy Durick, director of the Tulare County Mental Health Department, and John Moreno Gonzales with the California Health Care Foundation’s Center for Health Reporting. “El Informe Maddy: Livable Communities” will air at 7 a.m. on Univision 21 and UniMas 61 with guests Jose Oseguera  of the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission. “El Informe Maddy” is the weekly Spanish-language version of the report hosted by Ana Melendez, deputy director of The Maddy Institute. The Maddy Report programs cover how state and federal policy impact California and the San Joaquin Valley.
