Registration for Fresno State’s 43rd annual Chican@ Youth Conference is closed a week early due to maximum capacity. The conference will be from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, with keynote speaker Alex Espinoza, an award-winning author and Fresno State English professor, in the Satellite Student Union (2485 E. San Ramon Ave.). Central Valley middle school, high school and college students were invited to attend the event sponsored by the Office of Outreach and Special Programs at Fresno State and co-sponsored by student organizations and campus programs.
