Students from local high schools, community colleges and Fresno State are invited to engage in a Dialogue for Democracy on Constitution Day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Satellite Student Union. This event is to motivate and inspire political participation, informed voting and service. Topics include issues and concerns for youth in the November election. Students will have opportunities for discussion, activities and participation. The event is part of the Leon S. Peters Ethics Lecture Series. It is co-sponsored by the Civic Learning Partnership of Fresno County with support from Associated Students Inc., the Fresno Youth Commission, the Fresno County Office of Education and other community partners.
