Fresno State alumna Nicole (DiBuduo) Linder, executive director of the Marjaree Mason Center, was named to the University Advisory Board by Fresno State President Joseph I. Castro.

The 19-member panel of community members provides advice on improvement and development of the University.

Linder, a native Fresnan and a 1998 graduate of Fresno State with a degree in mass communications and journalism, was named head of the Marjaree Mason Center in 2016. The center is one of the largest domestic violence service agencies in California. Linder oversees nearly 100 employees who annually serve more than 5,600 adults and children from Fresno County affected by domestic violence.

She previously worked for Valley Children’s Healthcare Foundation, Fresno Pacific University and the City of Fresno.

Linder is a volunteer with the Rotary Club of Fresno, New Covenant Community Church and Fugman Elementary School.

“I am honored that Nicole has accepted this appointment to help guide the University,” Castro said. “The devotion she commits to preventing domestic violence and strengthening our community, combined with passion for her alma mater, makes Nicole an ideal fit on this leadership board dedicated to serving Fresno State and our students.”
