The Human Rights Coalition of the Central Valley presents “The Human Rights of Children,” which celebrates the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in the North Gym (Room 118).

The event is part of the Leon S. Peters Ethics Lecture Series featuring keynote speaker Assemblyman Dr. Joaquin Arambula, and guest emcee Juanita Stevenson, of Education Matters. The panel discussion will include Esmeralda Santos, Kids In Need of Defense; Cheryl Whittle, Fresno State Department of Social Work Education and Loleta Garfield and Willie Carrillo, Tule River Tribe. The event is free and open to the public.
