The Fresno State Craig School of Business will open its new Student Store, the first of its kind in the California State University system, on Tuesday, Jan. 22. The Student Store will be a small retail kiosk where students will receive hands-on business learning experience through operating and running the store as part of a two-semester, four-unit class.

Among the 10 students, there are a variety of majors including marketing, finance, fashion merchandising and management. The store will carry merchandise that will range in prices from $16.99 to $34.99 including shirts, sweaters, key chains and other items bearing the name of the business school. An online version of the store will also go operational.

The Student Store was made possible through the partnership between the Craig School of Business and Associated Students, Inc., along with a $60,000 donation from FocusVision, a local market research technology firm.
