As the media have reported, four student athletes left the Fresno State baseball team on March 26 citing a number of concerns. University policy requires that exit interviews be conducted with student athletes who leave under these circumstances.

The university completed the exit interviews and a thorough investigation of the player’s specific complaints.

As a result of the investigation, the university has determined that the complaints were not substantiated.

Head baseball Coach Bob Bennett has been informed of this finding. In a statement to the California State University, Fresno Office of University Relations, Coach Bennett said:

”I am pleased that the university made a careful review of the players’ concerns and has determined that no player was treated improperly and no university nor NCAA rules were violated.”
