Fresno State’s award-winning wines will be available for tasting at KMJ Radio’s 2nd Annual Rock ‘N’ Rod Revival this Saturday (Aug. 4) from 2 to 10 p.m. at the Coombs Riverbend Ranch on Avenue 12 in Madera County (north of the San Joaquin River off Highway 41).

The university’s viticulture and enology program will sell the wines with proceeds benefiting Fresno State agricultural programs. At the wine booth Saturday, coupons will be available for a 10 percent discount off Fresno State wines sold at the university’s Farm Market (Barstow and Chestnut Avenues).

Billed as a great day for the entire family with rods from the 1940s to the 1960s, the Rock ‘N’ Rod Revival is expected to attract 10,000 people.

More than 300 of the finest street rods, custom cars and specialty vehicles in California will be on display as well as the KMJ KIDZONE, food and beverage booths and live music from the 1950s provided by Flash Cadillac and other artists.
