Four members of the Pearl Harbors Survivors Association will recall the events they experienced on Dec. 7, 1941, at a session sponsored by the Department of History at California State University, Fresno on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
The four Fresnans who were eyewitnesses to history will speak from 2 to 3:15 p.m. in East Engineering Building, Room 191. The presentation to Dr. Ephraim Smith’s history class is open to the public.
The guest speakers are:
· Rik Richards, 3rd class petty officer, radioman AKS-1, USS Castor. (at left in photo)
· Keith Settle, ships cook, 3rd class, USS Maryland.
· Ferol Stanton, boatswain’s mate, 1st class, USS West Virginia.
· Lawrence McNabb, 2nd class machinist mate, USS Pennsylvania.
