Kennel bookstore opens Armenian book section

The Kennel Bookstore at California State University, Fresno has added an Armenian book section in conjunction with the Armenian Studies Program on campus.

Janet Van Wyhe, manager of the general book section, said the addition allows the bookstore to “share the heritage of all of its neighbors.”

The new section includes books on Armenian history, the Armenian genocide, language, drama, cookbooks, novels and poetry. Van Wyhe expects the collection to be expanded in the future.

The Kennel Bookstore serves the campus community plus Fresno and surrounding areas. The main bookstore number is 278-4062 or 800-996-2411, and the general book department is 278-4286. Special orders for books may be made over the phone or by e-mail at kennel@csufresno.edu.
