Free tickets to the Bulldogs basketball games for Fresno State students have been made simpler to obtain. There are now two basic ways for students with a valid student I.D. card to get tickets:

• At the University Student Union Information Window on campus beginning at 1 p.m. on the Friday before the week of home games (anytime during the window’s regular business hours)

or

• On game day, tickets may be obtained beginning 90 minutes before tip-off at the Save

Mart Center’s special student entrance (southwest corner near Shaw and Woodrow).

The information window, located in the lobby of the University Student Union, is open at various hours. Call 278-2078.

Guest tickets are available for $22 each pending availability: beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday of the home game week, if there are tickets remaining, students will be permitted to obtain their one free ticket for themselves and purchase one guest ticket.

Five remaining men’s games are UTEP (Feb. 12), Boise State (Feb. 14), the Bracket Buster game (Feb. 21), Nevada (Feb. 28), San Jose State (Mar. 4) and Hawaii (Mar. 6). The free tickets do not apply to the 2004 McCaffrey WAC Basketball Tournament which Fresno State will host in the Save Mart Center March 9-13.

Free student tickets are also available for women’s basketball home games and may be picked up at the center one hour prior to game time. The men’s and women’s schedules are available through the gobulldogs.com sports link at FresnoStateNews.com.

Group seating for recognized student organizations also is now available so students can sit together. See complete updated details of the ticket plan and specific pick-up dates and times for each game at www.csufresno.edu/usu.
