University officials closed the Social Science Building at California State University, Fresno at 12:50 p.m. today (March 24) due to a bomb threat.

University Police and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department bomb squad are conducting a thorough search. The building, located on the northwest end of the campus, will be closed until it is determined to be safe to re-enter.

Employees in that building should remain on campus and await instructions. 1:00 p.m. classes in that building are canceled. For the day’s remaining classes, updates will be provided through these information avenues:
