More than 2,000 educators, technology suppliers and educational decision -makers from around the valley will experience a hands-on technology exposition during the Fresno State Technology Fair scheduled for Friday and Saturday (March 12 and13) at the Satellite Student Union (2485 E. San Ramon).

The fair, which will be held on Friday from 9 am. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, will focus on the role of information technology in providing a cost-effective education, said Joe Sanders, technology analyst for the 21st Century Classroom at Fresno State.

The premier conference plays a vital role in equipping local universities, colleges and K- 12 schools with a strong base of technology awareness and the knowledge needed to tackle the increasing challenges of teaching, learning and managing educational technology, Sanders said.

The free event will draw representatives from information technology supplying organizations like Hitachi America Ltd., Ikon Imaging Solutions, Valley Network Solutions, Canon USA, WolfVision Incorporated, Dell Computers, Apple Computers, Office Depot and Polycom Video Conferencing, among many others.
