From: Steve Weakland, Assistant Athletics Director for Communications RE: Ricchiuti Academic Center/Duncan Expansion Ground Breaking

Fresno State will hold a ground breaking ceremony for the Ricchiuti Academic Center and the Duncan Building Expansion on Thursday, March 4, at 2 p.m.

The ceremony will be held where the Ricchiuti Academic Center will be constructed, adjacent to the Fresno State strength and conditioning center.

Scheduled to speak will be Fresno State President John D. Welty, Athletics Director Scott Johnson, head football coach Pat Hill, members of the Ricchiuti Family and selected student-athletes.

The project, estimated at nearly $5 million, is scheduled to be completed in October 2004.
