The California State University, Fresno String Orchestra will perform on Tuesday, March 16 at 8 p.m. in thMentuetst Hall on campus. The ensemble will present compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Divertimento in D Major); Giacomo Puccini (Mentiets for strings); and Antonin Dvorak (Serenade for strings) in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Bohemian composer’s death.

The String Orchestra concert, which is hosted by Fresno State’s Department of Music, is under the direction of Dr. Dieter Wulfhorst and Dr. Susan Doering.

Admission is $8 for general public, $5 for faculty/staff/seniors and $3 for students. Tickets can be purchased in the Music Department Office, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or at the box office beginning one hour prior to the concert start time.
