California State University, Fresno classics professor Victor Davis Hanson will be featured in a live, three-hour interview on C-SPAN’s “In Depth” on C-SPAN2, Sunday, March 7, beginning at 9 a.m. It will re-air at 2 p.m.

“In Depth” typically features the work of prominent authors who have made a significant contribution to society. The March 7 show is part of the once-a-month look at the entire creative output of one author. Hanson is the author of 15 books, plus more than 170 articles, book reviews and opinion columns on Greek, agrarian and military history and essays on contemporary culture.

The show also will include footage of Hanson’s raisin farm in Selma.

Connie Doebele, regular “Washington Journal” host and main host and executive director of “Book TV,” will be hosting the show.

“In Depth” is part of television’s longest running book program, “Booknotes,” which is hosted by C-SPAN’s CEO Brian Lamb.

Hanson will answer e-mail and telephone questions from viewers throughout the program, which is produced in Washington, D.C.
