Media note: Starting today, May 24, summer hours of operation for all offices at Fresno State will be from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. The schedule will continue through Aug. 13.
The early starting time was instituted three years ago as energy-saving
measures during the state’s energy crisis. The campus was able to generate
significant energy and financial savings, and the same is expected this year.
Please remember that during the summer, most faculty members are on vacation and difficult to locate on short notice. Also, the University Relations office will observe the summer hours along with the rest of the campus, so whenever possible plan your media requests to coincide with our working hours.
After 3:30 p.m., Shirley Armbruster and Tom Uribes will be available by cell phone for urgent media calls.
