“A Celebration of Wine” — Central California’s largest and most prestigious wine event of its kind and sponsored by the Viticulture and Enology Alumni Association of Fresno State — will be held Sunday, June 6, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Dennes Coombs’ Riverbend Ranch in Madera.

The 22′ annual alumni event features wine tasting by more than 100 prestigious wineries from throughout the state, including the award-winning Fresno State Winery, and food sampling from more than 40 Central California restaurants.

In addition, there will be a post-event coffee-tasting, desserts and live jazz from 5:30 p.m. to dusk.

The cost is $65 per ticket, which includes a souvenir wine glass, buffet plate and program.

“A Celebration of Wine” raises funds to support the Vincent E. Petrucci Library (librarian and collection), located in Fresno State’s Viticulture and Enology Research Center. The library is a collection of viticulture and enology resources and is available to the campus community and general public.
