Enoch Gamoian, who for five years was West Coast Web manager for Granite

Broadcasting, has been named Web manager at California State University, Fresno. He starts June 21.

Under the umbrella of the University Relations office, Gamoian will be responsible for the university’s main Web site, www.csufresno.edu, the increasingly popular news

Web site, www.FresnoStateNews.com and several ancillary Web sites. He will oversee site content and design, develop campuswide Web policies and procedures and assist in the adoption of new Web technologies.

Gamoian was named Web manager with Granite, which includes KSEE-24, in 1999. In 1999 and 2000, Granite won the Associated Press award for best television station

Web site. He has previous Web, database and technical writing experience at Integrative Systems, Grundfos Pumps and Pelco.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Fresno State and has undertaken graduate studies in literature and education at Fresno State and Chapman College.
