When: Thursday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: The Pit at the University Student Union
What: St. Patrick’s Day Irish entertainment and barbecue, plus a message on
alcohol awareness. The program will include Irish Step Dancing by Cynthia Merrill’s School of Arts, music, prizes, free hot dogs and non-alcoholic drinks.
In addition, results of a new informal survey of students’ plans for spring break (March 21-25) will be revealed.
The event is being sponsored by the Alcohol Advisory Council Student Subcommittee, Associated Students, Student Health Science Association, Social Norms Project, Food Services and other campus sponsors.
