The 7th Annual Concerto Concert featuring the California State University, Fresno Wind Ensemble will be held Wednesday, May 11, at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall on campus.

The Wind Ensemble is conducted by Dr. Lawrence Sutherland, director of bands in the Fresno State Music Department, which is presenting the concert.

Six outstanding musicians from the studios of Fresno State music professors Miles Ishigaki, Tom Heibert, Teresa Beaman, Michael Caldwell and Larry Gardner will be featured:

• Jennifer Reimer will perform the 1st movement of the Carl Maria von Weber Concerto No. 1 in F minor; Clarinet.

• Stephen Clements will play the Allegro from the Hummel Trumpet Concerto;

• Christina Bellotta will perform a movement from the David Maslanka Song Book for Flute and Wind Ensemble;

• Trevor Reid and Elisha Vallejo will play the Allegro from the Roesetti Concerto No. 18 for Two Horns;

• Iris Smith will play the Introduction and Hungarian Rondo for Bassoon by von Weber. Tickets are $6 general admission and $4 for students. The Concert Hall is located in the Music Building; east end (2380 E. Keats Ave.).
