The City of Fresno’s bomb squad was called to the Engineering West Building at California State University, Fresno at noon today (April 28) to remove a bottle containing a chemical that, because it had lost its original state of condition, could have been explosive.
Labs and several students working in them in the immediate vicinity of the room where the container was stored were evacuated for about 30 minutes during the removal.
The Fresno Fire Department was on site during the operation.
