Dr. Lucia Cargill, an applied medical anthropologist who is president/executive director of the American Overseas Medical Aid Association, will speak about the devastating South Asia tsunami at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at California State University, Fresno.

The presentation in Room 191 of the East Engineering building is sponsored by the Associated Students and the Anthropology Club as part of Anthropology Day 2006.

Cargill’s organization has been involved in helping tsunami survivors who lost their homes and now live at internally displaced persons camps in Indonesia.
