The Fresno Grizzlies will pay tribute to California State University, Fresno on Thursday, May 4, for the university’s service and commitment to the San Joaquin Valley.

Fans are asked to wear Fresno State apparel to the game against the Tucson Sidewinders that begins at 7:05 p.m. at Grizzlies Stadium in downtown Fresno. Fans wearing Fresno State apparel can purchase a specially priced Field Level Reserved ticket for $5 the night of the event.

The evening will feature several campus groups, including schools and departments, leadership organizations, athletics and alumni, who will showcase the opportunities they provide to Fresno State students. There will be numerous Fresno State-themed promotions and on-field competitions, as well as several giveaways of Bulldog memorabilia.

Throughout the evening, fans will have the opportunity to purchase a limited edition Fresno Grizzlies hat commemorating Fresno State Tribute Night. All of the proceeds from the sale of these hats, as well various silent auction items, will benefit the Rachel Donaldson Fund. Donaldson is a member of the Fresno State women’s softball team who is undergoing treatment for cancer.
