Classes will not meet, the CSU Summer Arts program takes the day off and offices will be closed at Fresno State on Wednesday, July 4, but the Fresno State Farm Market will be open.

The University Police Department will be on duty. In the event of an emergency, call 559.278.8400.

The Farm Market at the southeast corner of Barstow and Chestnut avenues will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

Sales of student-made ice cream – always a favorite Fresno State product – are expected to be brisk. July is National Ice Cream month and the Dairy Processing Unit’s flavors of the month are java cappuccino chip and mocha almond fudge.

Proceeds from the sale of Fresno State products at the Farm Market benefit the university’s agricultural programs.

Regular Farm Market summer hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 559.278.4511.

Summer Arts is a California State University program of master classes and public performances that has been conducted on the Fresno State campus for past eight Julys.

Classes will resume and offices will re-open on Thursday, July 5. Summer hours throughout the campus are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break.
