Just nine days after winning a Golden Globe as Best Animated Film of 2007, “Ratatouille,” produced by California State University, Fresno alumnus Brad Lewis, was nominated for five Academy Awards.

“Ratatouille” will compete for Oscars in Best Animated Feature, Writing (Original Screenplay), Music (Score), Sound Editing and Sound Mixing. Nominations for the 80th annual Academy Awards were announced this Tuesday, Jan. 22. The winners in major categories will be announced Feb. 24.

The Golden Globe award for Best animated feature was announced Jan. 13 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. To read more about that award, click here
