Among the ballot propositions that will go before voters Feb. 5, Prop. 92 could have an impact on Fresno State and other California State University campuses.
Trustees of the CSU have taken a formal position in opposition to Prop. 92, commonly called the Community College Initiative. While the California State University supports the role of California’s community colleges in education, Prop. 92’s passage could have a negative impact on the CSU and threaten funding for other critical programs.
