The 15th annual Red Wave Classic Junior Livestock Show presented by California State University, Fresno will be held Feb. 9-10 at the Big Fresno Fair Livestock Pavilion.

This California Junior Livestock Association-sanctioned show begins at 9 a.m. Feb. 9 with steer showmanship, followed by lamb and goat showmanship at 10 o’clock. Jackpot classes begin after each showmanship group.

At 10 a.m. Feb 10, , heifer and hog showmanship events start the day, followed by the heifer breed shows and jackpot hog classes.

The show is sponsored by the Department of Animal Sciences and Agricultural Education in Fresno State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology in cooperation with Farmers Best Feed, the show’ s sponsor.

The Red Wave Classic Prospect Sale will be held Jan. 5. Both events are organized by Fresno State agriculture students comprising the Red Wave Classic Committee.
