Pianist Ingrid Fliter, who won prizes in the Busoni and Chopin International Piano Competitions and has established herself as a soloist around the world, will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the Concert Hall at California State University, Fresno.

Fliter’s appearance is part of the Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts series.

She will play works by Schubert, Beethoven and Chopin.

Fliter is a protégé of fellow Argentinean Martha Argerich, considered one of the world’s finest modern pianists. Fliter has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert venues: the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Philharmonia in St. Petersburg, Russia, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and Philharmonie in Cologne.

Tickets are $12.50 general, $7 seniors and $5 students. Free parking will be available on campus in Lot C (northeast corner of Maple and Shaw avenues).
