Leadership California has selected Caryl Jacobs, administrative project coordinator at California State University, Fresno, as a member of the Class of 2008 for its California Issues & Trends Program. CIT is a prestigious, yearlong program for 60 women leaders from across the state.

The California Issues & Trends Program provides focused development of women leaders, exposing them to critical public and private sector issues and enhancing their competitive knowledge on California from state, national and global perspective.

Jacobs joined the Fresno State staff in the Office of the Vice President of Administration in 2007. She previously worked in the IT department of Shoreline Community College in Seattle, where she was manager of operations and was involved in a number of college-wide and regional committees including sustainability, master plan and the College Council.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in leadership management/public administration from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Wash.
