President Welty, faculty and student leaders will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, to mark the first anniversary of the tragic shootings on the Virginia Tech campus.
The ceremony at the Virginia Tech Memorial Garden southeast of the Madden Library will begin with brief remarks and conclude with the laying flowers at the plaque commemorating the students and faculty whose lives were lost.
