California State University, Fresno’s College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) will host the 22nd Migrant Student Recognition Banquet at 6 p.m. Friday, May 2.
The event will be held at the International Catering Company (4277 N. West Ave., north of Ashlan) in Fresno.
CAMP is a federally funded program designed to provide academic and retention services to students from migrant or seasonal farmworker families. The purpose of the recognition banquet is to honor 82 CAMP freshmen students for their academic achievements and other accomplishments, including leadership and community service, throughout the year.
