The Fresno State Bulldogs advanced in the College World Series with a 17-5 victory Sunday over the Rice Owls, the nation’s sixth-rated collegiate baseball team. That sets up a game at 4 p.m. (PDT) Tuesday against the North Carolina Tar Heels as Fresno State makes its first visit since 1991 to college baseball’s most prestigious tournament.
