Campus Drive will be closed south of San Ramon Drive east of the North and South Gym beginning Monday, July 28, and continuing through Aug. 20. The closure is necessary to improve access along the west side of the university and to facilitate construction of the Peace Garden just north of the Madden Library.
Pedestrian foot traffic access through the corridor east of the South Gym and west of the Library and Peace Garden also will be closed. Pedestrian traffic is being re-routed through the South Gym via the north and east entryways. South Gym access will be open during normal operational hours, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
In addition, the west entry door to Family and Food Sciences will be closed during this construction phase and will remain closed until Aug. 20. The north and east entries in Family and Food Sciences will remain open.
