In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Dr. Shane Moreman, an intercultural communications scholar, will discuss “Intersectional Lessons of Latina Drag: Staging Brown Resistance” at 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at California State University, Fresno

Moreman is an assistant professor at Fresno State. His lecture will explore gender rules-of-conduct in the context of Latina drag.

The free, public talk will be in the Alice Peters Auditorium at the University Business Center.

The event is sponsored by the Women’s Studies Program in collaboration with the Chicano and Latin American Studies Department and the Communication Department.
